This guide walks through connecting Introzy as a remote MCP connector, so you can ask an AI assistant questions about your Introzy data and take actions on it directly from a conversation.
About the Introzy MCP connector
Introzy connects to AI assistants through MCP (Model Context Protocol) — an open standard that lets any compatible AI tool talk to external services in a consistent way. Introzy's MCP connector is a single remote endpoint, using standard OAuth 2.1 authorization.
Permissions — what the connector can read vs. write
Introzy's MCP connector only exposes a fixed set of tools. Connecting it doesn't hand an AI assistant any broader access than that, and every call is still limited to your Introzy role and the organizations you belong to.
Read (look up data, nothing changes):
Companies — look up a specific company, or search by name or website/domain
Contacts (People) — look up a specific contact, or search/list by name, email, job title, location, or company
Referral deals (opportunities) — look up a specific deal, including its note history, AI (Kai) recommendations, and linked finance status; or search/list and rank deals across your pipeline
Organizations — list which Introzy organizations you belong to
Write (create or change data):
Create a new company
Create a new contact
Create a referral connection (deal) between a seeker and a provider
Trigger AI enrichment for a contact (queues a background job; doesn't happen instantly)
Report monthly deal revenue into Accounts Payable/Receivable — restricted to users with a Finance role in that organization; other users can't use this one
Not currently supported:
Deleting a company, contact, or deal
Editing an existing contact's or company's details
Adding notes, moving a deal's stage, or other updates to an existing referral deal
Before You Start
An account with the AI tool you're connecting, with access to its connector settings
Your Introzy login, to authorize the connection
Know which Introzy organization you want the assistant to use by default, if you belong to more than one
The server URL
Every tool asks for the same thing: a remote MCP server URL. Use:
<https://introzy-mcp.onrender.com/mcp>
Add this wherever your tool lets you add a custom or remote MCP connector, then sign in with your Introzy account and approve the consent screen. The exact menu names differ by tool — pointers below.
Connect from your AI tool
Claude
Open Settings > Connectors, click Add, then Add custom connector.
Name it
Introzyand paste the server URL above, then click Add.Click Connect, sign in to Introzy, and click Allow on the consent screen. If you belong to more than one organization, pick the one you want Claude to use by default.

ChatGPT
Custom MCP connectors require Developer Mode, available on ChatGPT Pro, Team, Enterprise, and Edu plans.
Turn on Developer Mode under Settings > Connectors > Advanced.
Go to Settings > Connectors > Add custom connector, name it
Introzy, and paste the server URL above.Sign in to Introzy and approve the consent screen. Enable the connector for each conversation where you want to use it.
Details: Building MCP servers for ChatGPT (OpenAI).
Cursor
Open Settings > Tools & Integrations, then New MCP Server (or add an entry to
.cursor/mcp.json) using the server URL above.Sign in to Introzy and approve the consent screen.
Details: Model Context Protocol (MCP) (Cursor Docs).
Other MCP-compatible tools
Any tool that supports adding a remote MCP connector by URL should work the same way: enter the server URL above, then complete the Introzy sign-in and consent screen when prompted. Check that tool's own documentation for exactly where to add a custom connector.
Confirm the connection
However you connect, your AI tool shows a list of Introzy's available tools once the connection is authorized. If that list appears, you're ready to go.
What's Next
Once connected, you can ask your assistant to look up or act on your Introzy data in plain language, for example:
"List my last 5 won deals"
"List my People on Introzy"
"Create a connection between Company ABC and Company X"
If you belong to multiple organizations, a simple question like this checks each organization you're a member of and groups the results by organization. A request that changes data (like adding a note or creating a connection) will ask you to name the organization first instead of guessing.
FAQ
Do I need to install anything on my computer?
No. Introzy connects as a remote MCP server, so there's nothing to download or install locally — except for Cursor, where the server is registered in a local config file rather than a UI.
Where do I find the server URL if I need to re-enter it?
Use https://introzy-mcp.onrender.com/mcp wherever your tool asks for a remote MCP server URL.
Can I use the Introzy connector in any conversation?
In Claude and Cursor, yes, once it's connected it's available in any conversation. In ChatGPT, you enable the connector per conversation under Developer Mode.
Which Introzy organization does the assistant use if I belong to more than one?
The organization you pick on the consent screen when you connect becomes the default. A question that just reads data (like listing deals) checks all of your organizations and groups the results. A request that changes data always asks you to name the organization first — it never guesses or combines data across organizations.
Can I change my default organization later?
Not without reconnecting. Changing the default requires re-authorizing the connector and picking a different organization on the consent screen. In the meantime, you can name an organization directly in your request (for example, "in my Acme workspace, what needs attention?").
Can the assistant combine data from more than one of my organizations into a single answer?
No. Each result is scoped to one organization at a time and labeled with which organization it came from, even when a question checks multiple organizations at once.
Is there a limit to what the assistant can see or do through the connector?
Yes — see Permissions above for the exact list of what it can read and write. Beyond that list, access is scoped to the data your Introzy role can already see in each organization; connecting an AI tool doesn't grant any additional access.
Troubleshooting
The tools list doesn't appear after connecting
Cause: The authorization step wasn't completed, or the browser tab was closed before the consent screen finished.
Solution: Repeat the connect step in your AI tool's connector settings and complete Introzy sign-in through to the Allow step.
The assistant only seems to see one of my organizations
Cause: The organization selected during authorization becomes the default, and simple requests without a named organization check all your organizations, but a specific default is still used for anything ambiguous.
Solution: Name the organization directly in your request (for example, "in Globex, list my open deals"), or reconnect the connector and pick a different default organization on the consent screen.
